will not accept network password

I am unable to log on at the very end of trying to open email account in
outlook 2003............go through all the set up to include servers etc.
then at the final hurdle when it requests network password it keeps saying
same..'log on to incoming mail server pop3 outlook could not connect to the
incoming server pop3 because the server did not accept username or password?

i have a hotmail premium account of which i want to use in outlook...
using..office proffessional 2003.....please can anyone help me?
