will not accept password after server change

We have recently changed the location of our user accounts to another server
due to a space issue. The .pst have also been moved with them. However now
the users who's home directory (including their profile and .pst file) have
been copied across keep getting a password request whenever they open
Outlook. We have put in the correct password (I set up the email accounts so
I know the passwords), but it will not accept it. I have tried deleting that
Outlook account and creating a new one, with the same problem. The correct
..pst file has been found and no permission changes have been made to the
staff folders.

I have already spent 1.5 days trying to solve this issue and now desperately
need help.
