will not allow sending of mail

I cannot get Outlook to send email via POP server It keeps saying my email
server rejects log in I have checked the server settings with the provider
and they confirm all is correct
I am running Outlook 2002 (SP3)

Hi,

Check if the password you type in for the log-in prompt matches what the ISP
has provided you.
Also, if it still prompts, try changing the user name in the password login
to complete email address or vice-versa and check if it helps you out.
