Will not start ...

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

My Microsoft Word refuses to open. Every time I click it, or attempt to create a new word document through the Project Gallery, it says it "unexpectedly quit." For a while, it would show an error message about missing some file in some /tmp/ something or other folder, but the message no longer appears. Somebody able to help this?

1) Download and run the latest Apple OS X combo Updater for your OS.

2) Find the Remove Office tool on your Office CD and run it.

3) Re-install Office (do a Complete install).

4) Download and run the latest Service Release from the Microsoft Mac
Office website.

5) Apply the two updates that were issued after it.

6) Run Disk Utility and Repair Permissions.

7) Restart your computer.

That should fix it.
