Will office 2007 Prof retail downgrade to Office 2003 Prof?

Can't seem to find this one - client doesn't want to use Office 2007,
but they don't need 5 licenses, so V/L is out, I could purchase OEM
Office 2003 Prof, but I can't tell if Office 2007 Prof Retail can
downgrade to Office 2003.... anyone done this without volume license
versions?

I understand the uninstall/install, but I wondered if one purchases
Office 2007 Retail if you can get MS to provide Office 2003 media and
key in place of 2007, since you can't buy office 2003 retail any longer.

That's what I thought, I knew we could do it from V/L software, but

Here you can still buy Office 2003 in all version at Office Depot (Canada) which is
(Office) the same as USA

I've seen office 2003 OEM available and found we can purchase OEM Prof
for about $200 (US), but the idea was to get 2007 for later and
downgrade to 2003 now.
