Will Office Pro 2003 'block' my Ipaq w Pocket PC from syncing?

I have an Ipaq with Windows - Pocket PC. I have had no problems using
ActiveSync until I installed MS Office Pro 2003. Now I cannot sync my data.
Has anyone heard of this problem or a fix.

What version of ActiveSync are you using? (By the way, the latest version is
4.1)

Have you tried a soft reset or an uninstall/reinstall of Activesync 3.8 or
better?
