Will Office Pro Edition 2003 run on Windows XP Home Edition??

Am going to buy either Office Professional Edition 2003 {OPE2003} or Office XP Professional. Currently have Win98, which will run Office XP Professional. Would upgrade to Windows XP Home Edition if it would mean that I could run OPE2003. MS product pages do not clearly state whether OPE2003 will run on XP Home, just that it requires Win2000 or Win XP or later. Please advise.

What's unclear about "requires Win2000 or Win XP or later"?

Office 2003 Runs on Win XP like it was made for it, which, incidentally,
it was. Do a clean install, that is, don't install Win XP over Win 98.
And select the NTFS file system when you install Win XP.
Things have gotten a lot better since 98. You're in for a big
improvement.

But perhaps your bottle neck now will be the hardware.
