will office update resume a download from the start if my connect.

I have Word 2002 as part of Works Suite 2003. The office update site says I
need Service pack 3. This is huge for my unreliable dial-up connection.

Will I be able to resume the download if my connection fails (as in the new
version of Windows update), or will I have to hope I can get the whole thing
in one go? Does anyone know if using a download manager on office updates is
possible to get round the problem?
