will outlook '03 work if home and student office '07 is installed

looking to install office 2007 home and student version, but doesn't have the
outlook update. will outlook 2003 be compatible with outlook 2007 or should
i get the 2007 standard office upgrade?

If you want integration across Office (mail merge, send to, themes, etc.) then you would do better purchasing Office Standard.
