Will there ever be Table support for OneNote 2003

I'm not interested in work arounds. I just want to know if I have to wait for
that kind of support in a newer version of OneNote.

you'll definitely need to wait for a newer version... I don;t expect it to
be in an SP for 2003, but it is a popular request and may make it in a later
version.
