I bought WinFax Pro 10.03 in order to do Mail Merge to Fax, using
selected contacts in my Outlook Database. I loaded the two macros
that were availble for MS Word and Excel in WinFax Pro. However, I
was wondering if any of you have used this and did it work?
I can't believe how slow WinFax Pro is in scrolling the Outlook
Contacts list. My computer isn't super fast ( and I dread the thought
of upgrating the computer and trying to migrate everything over to
another computer) but that scroll makes me wonder how slow the merge
process will be. I do have a large contact list of close to 3500
names and some fairly extensive notes attached to each contact. I sent
one six page fax, that included an artcile with picture of me, and
that took 4 min and 54 secs.
I read some of Russ Valentine's postings about doing it all through
Outlook and it seemed that that is years away. Maybe instead of giving
a huge dividend, Microsoft should evolve some of it's programs,
something they have been negligent about since there is NO
COMPETITION.
