Win XP Excel

I would like to display colour on my spreadsheet, but
when I select a cell then click on fill colour it does
not show on the spreadsheet in normal view. When I click
on print preview it shows up as grey and not the colour I
chose. Is this a fault with Win XP Excel or is there
something I have to change to get the colour to show. It
used to work in Win Office 98. Thank You, yours

If this is a problem with all files with coloured cells, the high
contrast setting may be turned on. There is information in the
