Win XP Pro and Office 2003 or XP problem (post #1)
Evening all....
I have had a re-occurring problem with win xp pro and office xp and now
office 2003. This problem it this, when i go into either email of word to
save\add or insert a file you will get the insert file display and search
for the location to insert the file from or save too. When i click the drop
down arrow on this prompt it takes forever to perform the drop down. Once
the drop down finally happens and i stay in email or word it drops down fast
after this point. Once i close email or word and go back in well, it takes
forever. Lets just say longer than i have ever seen. I have had Office 2000
installed and the drop down works fine the first time and every time after
that. This just seems to office xp and 2003 on my xp pro box. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
