Hi all,
Have a Win XP Pro PC running Outlook 97. Set this up in
the last few days, and bought across old e-mail from a
previous PC.
Services are set up as Personal Folders & Internet Mail.
All well, except that Outlook is crashing on trying to
send an e-mail "MAPI Spooler not responding", or other
random "Encountered an error, please send to Microsoft"
type issues.
Mail sitting in Outbox cannot be deleted.
Suspected a corrupt PST file, so, changed profile to new
PST file, and did a re-import of (most) data, excepting
the Outbox - no improvement.
I'm simply wondering if Outlook 97 may have some
compatibility issues with Windows XP, if anyone has seen
this previously and may have a solution?
