Win2k won't shutdown after printing in Word 2002

This problem only occured when I installed service pack 4 for win2k, before that i had no problems at all.
The following happens only after I print a document in Word 2002 and that is my win2k pro won't shutdown it hangs up in the "save the settings" window. I have to press the reset button on the CPU box to bring back win2k then I press the shutdown button and the computer shuts off OK.
Does anyone have any idea's of how to render this problem.
