Win98 and Office 2000

MS Access is installed.

However, when you start MS Access a dialog says to wait
while MS Access is being installed. This occurs every time
MS Access is opened.

MS Access opens after this dialog.

When you try to open an mde file you get a dialog says the
database is an unrecognized format. However, MS Access
will open an mdb file.

I have both A97 and A2K on one of my computers and I get this on A2K only
after I use A97 since A2K needs to be re-configured in the registry.

If you don't have other Access version, I suggest to use the Office Install
program to install everything to be run from your hard-disk.
