Hello NG
I hope i am in the right group here.
We have a network with a Windows2000-Server domain controller and
Win98 client. The clients have server based user profiles. They work
with Outlook Express and the mail folder is synchronized between the
home folder on the server and c:/windows/profiles/[USERNAME]/.....
each time you logon to the domain.
Now we want to change to WinXP and Outlook2003. We will not use
Exchange Server - just pop3. How can I provide a automation to import
the old mails and settings from OE to Outlook2003. Perhaps I could
wright a script that is executed the first time the new client
connects ?Or can I have a AD related settings that will do that for me
? Will XP remember the old Win98 profile ?
Thank you for your time and help. Please inform me if there is a
better group to post that question.
