Recently when shutting down Win98 I have been getting a message saying
something like "an error has been encountered with Excel" followed
with the usual page offsets, etc.
This seems to happen only when I have viewed a web page with an
embedded CSV file.
I save the embedded CSV file to my hard drive and then close the
browser window.
This has only started happening recently, following the installation
of a NIC adapter, which I can't see would have any direct impact on a
browser (?).
I am running Office97 on Win98 original. I have IE6 v6.0.2800.
All software is fully patched with all the latest available updates.
Any ideas?
