WinAuth PS Admins can't log in except for the PS Admin

When I try to log into PWA I can only log in using the PS Adminsitrator
account (using Adminstrator, not domain\Administrator) and the password. I
can't log into PWA from workstation that aren't part of the DC with any of
the other PS Adminstirator accounts. SQL server is using mixed mode. The
other PS Adminsitrators (not the Adminsitrator account itself) are set to us
Windows Auth. Do I need to grant local logon access to my PS non DC server
for the DC\user admins?

If so, how?

Thanks.

Hello there,

You wrote

What kind of error do you receive?

If I'm not mistaken, you should check your IIS's virtual folder
(ProjectServer) properties. Open "Directory Security" tab, click on "Edit"
button in "Anonimous Access.. " area and then check that "Anonimous Access"
is turn-off and Integrated Windows Authentication is turn-on.

Best regards

Thanks for replying. Anonymous access is un-checked and Win Auth is
checked. The error I recieve on the PWA page is:
"You have entered an incorrect user name/password combination. (5002)"

Thanks again

Hi,
checked. The error I recieve on the PWA page is:
"You have entered an incorrect user name/password combination. (5002)"

So, you enter into PWA login page Windows account's credentials? It's
incorrect (see http://www.ventyl.spb.ru/projectserver/attachment0.gif ). You
need to enter this credentials into
modal dialog. You need to tune your MS IE for it:

Open MS IE, click "Tools" in tom menu, select "Internet Options", select
"Security" tab. Select "Trusted Sites" icon (your PWA site should be
trusted). After that click "Custom Level", scroll down and check User
Authentication->Logon->Prompt for User Name and password (see
http://www.ventyl.spb.ru/projectserver/attachment1.gif).
After that try to open new instance of MS IE and open your PWA
(http://domainnamehere/ProjectServer for example). You will see modal dialog
(see http://www.ventyl.spb.ru/projectserver/attachment2.gif)

Also, you need to turn-on Mixed Mode Authentication (Users can be
authenticated with Windows Authentication using the user account logon ID,
or with Project Server authentication using a logon ID and password entered
by the user.) - see http://www.ventyl.spb.ru/projectserver/attachment4.gif

Cool! Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. It worked.

Maybe you can help me with authenticating from Project Pro 2003. In project
server account settings I have it set to use project server auth and my
username: larry. In the collaborate options I have it set to use project
server and my username larry. In the collaboration options general tab is
set to my username larry. I receive the error below.
Thanks again....
You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied because your Web browser is sending a
WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web server is not configured to
accept.

Unfortunately the settings you gave me don't seem to work for PWA web parts
in my WSS sites. I get the username password dialog in each web part and
recieve the same error as before in PWA. I have the trusted site and prompt
for UN:pW set for that site just like the PWA site. Any ideas? Thanks.
