Window Mail - Does two computers in home have to be same setting?

I would presume Outlook is another term for Window Mail.

So here goes. A couple of years ago, I purchased a notebook with Windows
Vista. I set up Window Mail with no problem.

Today, I purchased a new Desktop with Windows Vista. When setting up my
Window mail, does it have to be the exact setting as my first computer in my
other room with Windows Vista?

If that is correct, what If I forgot my password in my notebook computer?

You presume wrong. Mail is the replacement for Outlook Express - a mail and news client. Outlook offers calendar, contacts, tasks and mail but not news.

If you want to get mail from the same account, yes it needs to be set up identically.
