Window PPTs add Music Note Symbol that wont go away

A lot of PPTs that we use import text with a extra "music note" symbol in the text box. I have tried to update the font type or retype the text. The symbol is always added and cannot be deleted.

The only fix is to do a "cut" and "paste" of the text. Then you can delete the note.

How do you get rid of this import issue and how can I do a mass document fix? It is rather difficult to fix a 30 page PPT with most text boxes having this symbol.

Looks like it is a issue with Gulim Font type.

Is there a way to change out font a particular font throughout a document without having to do a swap on each page?

One option is the Format> Replace Fonts command. You can also get a global
change by modifying the Slide Master & reapplying it to all slides.
