WindowBeforeRightClick Error (Word 2000)

Using MFC/C++, Visual Studio 2k3.
When I set *Cancel to VARIANT_TRUE, it crashes everytime.
Is there a workaround for this? I don't want the shortcut menu to show.

Since this is an error caused by code, rather than Word simply
malfunctioning in some form, you may want to post this in one of the
Word developer newsgroups since that's where the dev gurus tend to
hang out.
