Windows 2000 and ME

I am running windows ME and Word 2000,when i open the new
office document,there is no task bar(ie print,back,foward
etc)I can print out the document that i am writing.
I have reinstalled several time from 2 differant disk to
make sure that there isnt snything wrong with the disk.
I still have the same problem after each installation,no
task bar... I have went over everthing that i know to do
about this,Any suggestions? I checked excel and
powerpoint,they have a task bar on them,the last thing
that i was doing is sending a fax..

Hi, Wayne,

Try deleting your default template file (normal.dot). Word will re-generate
it with default settings.
