Windows 2000 printer sharing without a domain

P

Paul Borginis

I have 4 windows 2000 machines hooked into a hub - simple peer to peer.. I
am having problems allowing one machine to print to another.. All the
printers are hook up via lpt on the local machine.. I share the printer,
lets say "hplaser", and give permissions to "everybody"... Still getting
access denied errors... Could someone please explain why? And how do I go
about fixing this? I have already tried to give permissions from the other
machine, but the operating system will not allow me to do so...

Thank you in advance..

Do you have a Web site open? :)

Paul, you'd have much better results posting this to the appropriate
newsgroup.
