Windows Account vs. Server account for PM

Hi,

Can some one explain the pros and cons of setting up 2 accounts for project
managers - a Windows account to perform team member tasks (ie. enter actuals)
and the other to perform PM tasks. The main reason I thought it would be best
to have 2 separate accounts for PMs would be to make it easier to perform PM
tasks when a PM is out of the office. For example, if a PM goes on vacation
for 2 weeks, another person/PM can simply logon using the PM's account to
perform his/her tasks. This would eliminate having to transfer ownership of
the project tasks from one PM to another. It would also eliminate having a PM
giving his/her Windows password to another person. However, I am not sure if
there is a restriction or some type of reduction in functionaliy between both
account types.

Hopefully some one can shed some light on this for me or point me in the
right direction to where I can get the pros and cons.

Thanks for your feedback

Paul

Gary,

What is a PITA? Sharepoint might be installed at a later time to take
advantage of the document management, risks and issues functionality, so I
guess it would be advantageous to go with Windows accounts. Is there any
specific or technical reason why the Sharedpoint functionality only works
with Windows acounts?

thx
