windows address book

i could fax using the windows address book.
after install microsoft office 2007 i can no longer get any addresses to
show up when i scan in a document and try to fax it. likewise if i enter a
document in word perfect and try to print to a fax the address does not show
up. how do i recover this address book (accessories>address book)
i have tryed the outlook address book but that makes no sense to me and i
havent been able to import my address book into it.
i dont understand why installmicrosoft office 2007 would change anything in
the way i had the fax set up.
can anyone help me

The 'windows address book' was replaced some time ago and outlook uses
Contacts.
Within Contacts you have to tick the 'show as an address book.
You might also check Internet Options that outlook is shown as your email
app
Within OL, File>Import >'Internet Mail and Addresses'
Then when you click on address book in Fax it should bring up your Outlook
address book
PS The Outlook address book is simply a filtered view of your Contacts
folder
