Windows authentication problem with multiple domains

I'm using Project Server 2003 and Project Pro 2003. The Project server is
in the parent domain. I have set up a user that is a member of a child
domain and have been able to login to pwa fine. When I try connecting using
Project Pro I receive "The Project Server database is unavaible. You can't
access the database for one of the following reasons:
There is a problem with the enterprise global template in the databse.
You do not have sufficient permission to access the enterprise global
template.
Network problems are preventing access.
Project Server does not have enterprise features enabled."
I can connect to the server using project pro fine if I'm logged into the
parent domain. Is there something I am missing to allow a user access from
a child domain? I would like to do this using windows authentication.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I've got the same problem :( But I don't think this is parent/child
domain problem. I'm working in one domain and when I'm trying to connect
MS Project Server 2003 from Project Pro 2003 I got the same message. The
most interesting thing is that PWA works fine and I can connect both by
Windows and Server authentication.

Thanks for any help if you know why it doesn't work.

Not sure if this will work, but are you aware of a setting in IE - Tools >
Internet Options > Security > Custom Level > Access Data Sources Across
Domains...
?
