Windows Authentication

We are having difficulty moving from MSPS Authentication to Windows
Authentication for a resource pool of about 150 people. The AD Groups have
been set up but are still experiencing problems getting connected. A few
questions:

(1) Does this migration have to be done in Project Proefssional by opening
up the ERP and making each user Windows Authenticated or is it done via PWA?

(2) Is MSPS looking for the Windows ID or does it use MS Exchange and look
for a valid email address when looking for the Windows User Name.

(3) does the ERP "Account Name" (in Project Pro) need to be changed to
match the user's Windows Account Name?

Any other useful hints would be appreciated as the steps we are trying do
not seem to be working.

Tanks!

To make any resource account use Windows authentication, you only need to
add their Windows user account information. To do this, you should do the
following:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool and check out all resources
2. Double-click a resource name
3. Click the Windows Account button and select the resource
4. Click OK
5. Repeat steps #2-4 for each resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool

Hope this helps.
