Strangely, when I open a access database using a desktop shortcut, the
database opens and I get an error message "Windows cannot find 'the file'.
Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To Search..."
It's annoying to me, and confusing to my users. If I place "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE" in front of the shortcut's
filename, the error message does not appear. I checked my file types, and
the mdb extension has "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE" /nostartup "%1" for Open.
I'd appreciate an explanation as to why this is occurring. Thanks
