windows continually configures DAO

Hello; when I run a DAO object from VB modules in Access 2003, I always get
a message that says "Please wait while Windows configures DAO". After about
30 seconds it gives "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product
DAO. The Windows Installer cannot continue." When I hit OK, my modules run
fine but I get same two errors the next run - which is a hassle. I have
chcked my Access installation, even ran repair/debug - any ideas from anyone
will be appreciated.
