I've installed Windows Desktop Search (I beleive it is v3.01), and I have
Outlook 2007 SP1 working with Exchange Server 2003. At some point WDS stopped
indexing all of my email, and can only find email up to a certain date.
When I search from Outlook via "Instant Search" I am told search results may
be incomplete and that 25,254 items remain to be indexed across all mailboxes.
This happened months ago and I've been unable to fix it. I've tried:
* Repairing the installation for WDS
* Uninstalling and reinstalling WDS
* Clicking the Magnifying Glass system tray icon and checking indexing
status and making sure all items are indexed according to this count.
* From the control panel applet: Rebuilding the indexes
I've search the KB and GOOGLE and am unable to fnd a solution. Any advice on
how to resolve this would be greatly appreciate. Right now, I have to rely on
GOOGLE's DESKTOP SEARCH to search Outlook for my email!
