Windows Desktop Search

Hey all,

We're working on a deployment strategy for approximately 2000 users, and I
was curious about the Desktop Search tool which is installed with Office
2007. Is there a way to avoid having Outlook prompt the user to download
the search tool (either by including it with the installation, or by
disabling the prompt)?

It's very important on our campus that the deployment be as uniform as
possible, and to be honest, many members of our faculty will react poorly if
they click on the link and have to run through the Genuine Advantage
verification. This should be something we can take care of for them
(without manually installing it on each machine)

Thanks,
