Hi,
I am a fairly recent convert from Windows to Mac.
Running Panther on a G4 Powerbook (1 Ghz/768MB Ram) and office vx with
latest service pack.
Opening a rather large Windows Excel file (7.5 MB) containing lots of
pivot tables and about 20 worksheets takes almost 15 minutes to open,
compared to about 30 seconds on a windows machine.
Is this a common occurance when using the same excel files between platforms?
Is there any known fix for this kind of issue?
Also, when I open Windows Excel files with pivot tables, the Pivot
Tables don't seem to work on the Mac, even tho I have the MS Query
tool working and accessing the same Db.
I think I may be missing some steps somewhere along the line...
Any help gretaly appreciated.
Rgds,
David Henderson.
