Windows Installer Appears Every Time an Office 2003 Program Is Started

I had Office 2000 Pro on my PC running Win XP Pro. About a month ago I
installed Office 2003 which has been working well.
I just uninstalled all the "Internet Information Services" thru the
Add/Remove Windows Components.
Since then, everytime I open Word or Outlook, a Windows Installer
dialogue box appears:
"Preparing to install...." I click cancel and am able to work with
these programs just fine.
So I'm not sure just what the installer wants to install, but it is
getting irritating.

A long time back I had the same thing happen with my Office 2000.
Someone at the newsgroup directed me to this: Article ID

which worked well. However, it applies to Office 2000.
Does anyone know how I can stop that installer from popping up for
Office 2003?
I searched the KB articles with no luck but I'm not very good at
searching.

Thank you Carey Frisch!
I went to Kelly's Korner Website as you suggested.
That fixed the problem immediately!
The installer had been getting worse and started showing up on EVERY
program I was opening .. not just the Office programs.

By the way, Kelly's Korner is a wonderful site.
All kinds of tweaks listed. I could spend hours there. lol
