Windows installer service could not be acessed......

...this can occur if you are running windows in safe mode,
or if the windows installer is not correctly installed.
Contact your support personel for assistance.

Microsoft word 2000

Also when I click on a office program windows installer
flashes up and goes to install it..even tho it's there!

Any help appreciated
