windows installer

Every time I turn on my computer or try to open an office
application, Windows Installer comes on and acts as if it
is trying to install something - it asks me to insert
Office w/Front page (which I do not have as I purchased
this PC from a friend and this PC does not even have
front page installed).

This seems to have started after I did an upgrade to AOL
9.0 recently. Regardless how do I get installer to stop
running every time I turn on my pc or an application?

Hi, Scott,

You should get the CD from your friend. If you legally own the license, you
should have the installation media.

Otherwise, you might contact AOL to find out what their upgrade may have
done to the Window Installer data.
