Windows installers can't find a patch to install. How do I remove.

[Upgrade download removal question.]

After trying to installing an upgrade to Office XP, windows installer says
that it can't find a patch to install. When I cancel the download, I am
unable to remove the trial version and the upgraded version on my computer.
Does anyone know how to remove other than going through the control panel?

Your trying to remove the patch correct? The only way I can think of
removing it is through the Control Panel.
