I had this problem with Vista 64 bit. I hoped Microsoft would fixed this but
on my new Windows 7 64 bit computer, I have the same problem. When I choose
File;Send to Mail Recipient; and choose any of the 3 possibilities file types
(.jnt, .mht, .tif), a Microsoft Office Outlook window pops up and states
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot
fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Ouffice Outlook and set
it as the default mail client"
It is the mail default mail client on my system and was added after I bought
the computer. When I check the defaults for email, it has all the defaults
possible. I did an internet search and apparent this is a known problem with
no solution. Is that still true. This is a critical component of my business
as I am in the field and need to send documents back as tif's.
A web search seems to indicate that it may have something to do with the
Microsoft Office Document Imaging program.
