I installed Windows Live Local when it came out as a beta. Last week I
tried to create an appointment, and went to the Location tab to map out the
travel, but found a message telling me to download Windows Live Local again.
It would not let me put in the addresses for the maps I have been creating
successfully until now.
So I went to the download site and downloaded the latest version. I closed
Outlook, checked that it wasn't running in the Task Manager, and installed
it but when I tried to add the location to an appointment, whether on old
one or a new one, I just get the message to download it again.
I tried reinstalling it; it did a repair, the only options being Repair or
Remove. It says that removing will delete information I have saved in the
location tabs when it was previously working, which is why I did the repair.
It still isn't working; I just get the message to download it again.
I am using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro, with all updates.
How can I fix this problem?
