windows logo key

I've been trying to figure out something quite frustrating. I can't use the
windows logo key. I know that I can get around it using tools but it would be
so much quicker to use it. For instance when I want to do screen clipping, if
I press windows + s nothing happens except it writes "n" wherever I am. The
key itself works - I can access the start menu through there. Any suggestion?

So neither Win+N nor Win+S work?

Do the other universal shortcut keys work?

Win+M to minimize all windows?
Win+L to lock the workstation?
Win+E to open My Computer?

Do you have the OneNote Tray icon enabled? IIRC, the shortcut key only
works if the OneNote icon is loaded.
