windows logon says i have 32 unread messages.

Anytime, When I awaken my computer, the Windows logon says I have a lot of
unread messages. I've cleaned out the deleted messages files, used the
search folder for unread messages, and can't find ANY. Thanks for any help

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Youremailaddress],
double click on "MessageCount" - in the right-hand pane - and change the
value to 0(Zero).
