Windows Mail

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I see some
references to a program called "Windows Live Mail". Is this a new program? I
presently have Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Mail.
Should I be looking to upgrade this. I am a single home user and not in an
office environment.
