Windows PowerPoint file and Mac

Can a Mac view my Windows PowerPoint PPS file?

If not, what do I need to do to send my Windows PowerPoint file to my
teacher who uses a Mac?

my suggestion:
1. convert the pp presentation to flash, then upload the presentation
to a website. ask your teacher to visit the site to view. or, ask your
teacher to download a flash player for mac, play the flash (it requires
more work, if your are interested, write me an e-mail,)
2. convert the pp presentation to DVD(it will take a long time), burn a
dvd disk, give it to your teacher.
3. if possible, invite your teacher to visit your dorm or the place
that can access a windows pc and convenient for both of you, play the
pp for him/her.

Suggest you burn your powerpoint file to a DVD disk and send the DVD
disk to your teacher

I guess I was unclear when I said "send" the pps to the teacher. What I
meant was, can the teacher view the pps file (created on my pc) on her Mac
when I give her a CD with the pps file burned on it?

And why are you suggesting the more expensive DVD disk instead of the CD?
