Windows Search Tool

hello,

I have a question for y'all regarding searching for files
using the windows search tool. I have a few users that are
still running Windows 95 workstations while others use
Windows XP. My users store their documents on a network
share and use the Windows search tool's 'full-text'
searching capabilities to find some of the harder to find
documents. There issue here is with WordPerfect documents.
Many of the Word Perfect documents are given file names by
DocsOpen 3.9.6. The reason why DocsOpen isn't being used
for 'full-text' searching is because the Hummingbird
search server has not been installed yet. It will be but
it is still a few weeks away and the Windows 'full-text'
search works pretty good in the meantime - but I digress.
The issue is that DocsOpen gives WordPerfect files an
extention of '.01 or .02' depending on the version of the
doc. This extention is ambiguous to Windows XP, ergo: none
of these documents are found in the 'full-text' search. Is
there a way to enable ambiguous extentions such as I
mentioned to be included in the 'full-text' searches? My
people running Windows 95 do not have this problem, only
my XP people are suffering from this. Please help.
