Windows Showing on Non-Existant Second Screen

Hi there!

I have a MacBook Pro and it has always annoyed me that Excel does not
properly recognise when a secondary monitor has been disconnected. The
only way it seems to be able to tell it that the external monitor has
been disconnected is to quit and restart the application.

The reason that this is a problem is that at work I have a Dell 20" LCD
and plug my MacBook Pro into it making it the main monitor. I then open
Excel and work in some documents saving them and closing some. At the
end of the day I disconnect the monitor and Excel appears with all of
the open documents on my internal and now main screen.

However, if I open up another document I am working on it thinks that
there is still another monitor connected somewhere and it opens the
window on that now invisible screen. The only way I can get to edit
that document is by choosing Arrange Windows or Zoom Window from the
Windows menu. This is very annoying and a bug that has existed since
Office v.X. It would be great if this could be fixed in the next patch!

Cheers, Chris W.
