Windows to Mac PPT conversion distorts images

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Hi there,

I have some images in a Windows PPT doc that get distorted when I open the same file in my Mac (I have Office for Mac 2008 installed). Anyone ever come across this issue? Would love to hear suggestions on how to fix - thanks in advance!!
