Several weeks ago I ran Windows Update. The scan instructed me to install
two updates: KB837009 and KB828026. I downloaded the updates, and the prompt
told me they had both been installed. However, the next time I ran Windows
Update, the same two updates appeared even though I had already installed
them. Well, I downloaded them again, and again the prompt told me that the
updates had been downloaded and installed.
Tonight I ran Window update again, and again the same two updates appeared.
I clicked on the feature “Updates Installed†and the updates appeared as
being installed two times.
My questions is: Why do the two updates (KB837009 and KB828026) appear as
being downloaded and installed? Why do the same two updates keep appearing
when I run Windows Update with the message “Windows Update has found 2
critical updates for your computer
