Windows Update Error "WindowsUpdate_00000643"

When I try to install Windows Vista Update Security Update for Microsoft .NET
Framework, Verson 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB929729), I recieve error
WindowsUpdate_00000643. I think this has to do with Office 2003 Prof. Cany
anyone trouble shoot this for me ? I would normally just uninstall office
and reinstall it but I've lost the disk and only have the product key and
cannot find the software online anywhere. Someon help, Thanks.

What makes you think this has to do with office?

Because the only information I can find on the error code refers to office
set up files. It may have nothing to do with office and that is where I am
trying to get direction.

Ok..

Well a couple suggestions. The error your getting sounds like an error you
would get when doing updates from the windows update site. If you download
that update manually and run it do you get the same error?

If that doesnt work..
If you uninstall Office 2003 and then try that update do you get the same
error? That would rule out Office 2003 being a part of the problem.
