I made the mistake of downloading the microsoft validation. I have Windows
Vista, Office Professional 2007 and Project 2003.
Whenever I try to download a template for any MS product (Word, Excel) from
MS's website, I get the message "You may be the victim of software
counterfeiting" and it complains about Microsoft Project. Of course, I have
not been. All my software has been purchased on CD's, all in their original
packaging and all with the appropriate software keys. I've downloaded the
latest patches for MS Project, but to no avail.
My questions:
1. how can I get rid of the annoying validation software
2. has anyone had this problem before and how have you fixed it?
