If a user has Windows XP, sometimes when code has run, the
user cannot get focus back on the open form. They can
click on the form, but Access just does a ding, and does
not do anything. I have tested this, and found that code
will still run. If I use Alt-F11, I can get to a code
window, and can run code by using an immediate window.
Also, if the form has a timer, the timer code will run at
correct intervals. The only problem is that the user
cannot access the form. We have shortcuts set up, and
using the function keys works correctly to open other
forms, but the same problem happens on these forms as well.
The database is an Access 2000 file, and we are using the
latest service packs of Office, and Windows XP. Also, I
use Windows 2000 on my computer, and have not ever had the
problem occur there. It appears to only happen in WinXp.
Any information about this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks,
